Within walking distance, Playa Grandi is known as one of Curaçao’s most popular spots to see sea turtles in their natural habitat.
However, in recent years it has become increasingly busy, with frequent visits from tour groups and cruise ship buses. For a more authentic experience, you may prefer to explore some of the quieter nearby beaches.
If you still wish to see sea turtles, we recommend visiting very early in the morning, when the beach is calm and less crowded. This is when you can enjoy a more peaceful and respectful encounter with these beautiful animals.
